Phelps Health Foundation's Heart-2-Heart Event Funds Lifesaving Cardiac Care
ROLLA, Mo. – The Phelps Health Foundation hosted its annual Heart-2-Heart fundraiser on August 21, raising over $122,000 to support lifesaving cardiac care at Phelps Health.
The 2025 event, held at Spencer Manor Winery, brought together community members, healthcare professionals and generous donors to champion high-quality heart care in our region. Funds raised will help purchase essential cardiac equipment, including:
- Altrix® Temperature Management System, a powerful tool designed to regulate body temperature with speed, accuracy and ease. In critical care situations—like heart attacks, strokes or surgeries—precise body temperature management can mean the difference between life and death. The Altrix® system helps stabilize patients quickly and safely, supporting better outcomes and faster recoveries.
- ACIST® Contrast Delivery System—an innovative tool that delivers contrast media with exceptional accuracy during angiographic procedures. The system promotes safer, more consistent outcomes by eliminating variability in contrast delivery, minimizing radiation exposure and enhancing efficiency in complex cardiovascular procedures.
“The Heart-2-Heart event is a powerful reminder of what can be accomplished when a community comes together with purpose,” said John Money, senior vice president of Human Resources and philanthropy at Phelps Health. “These funds will directly support the technology and care our patients need, and we’re proud to stand alongside our generous supporters in making that possible.”
